At Vermont Timber Works, we still hand craft all of our timber frames using classic timber framing tools. For example, an adze, framing chisel, mortising machines, beam saws, band saws, peg drills, slicks and more.
Doug and Peter design using Data CAD and develop detailed shop drawings which are then approved by the project architect and/or engineer. One approved, these shop drawings hit the shop floor and the fabrication begins. Need a professional engineer's stamp? Not a problem, right PJZ?
OH, and you gotta have one of these on hand at all times! A Boxer DOG.
