Perfect for social gatherings and musical performances in the park. Post and beam structures add warmth, function and of course beauty. This amphitheater can be found at Citizens Park Playground in Barrington, IL.

What the heck is a porte cochere? That was a question I asked when first started working with Vermont Timber Works. Doug answered " it's a fancy carport"...SO there you go. Need a timber frame fancy car port? Vermont Timber can build one for you.

Post and Beam and Glulam Arches.

Our Lake Taghkanic West Bathhouse and Beach Area Project is turning out to be quite something. Beautiful douglas fir timbers coordinating the glulam arches on the trellis. Take a look. Nice job on those arches ALAMCO!

Douglas Fir Timbers through out the pavilion and exteriors. Vermont Timber Works, Inc did raise this timber frame.

Post and Beam and Turned Columns by Vermont Timber Works

Post and Beam Construction underway for the Katonah Bathhouse in Katonah, New York. This design incorporates douglas fir heavy timber trusses with 4 douglas fir turned columns at the entry. Here is our shop drawing showing the overall design. See where our turned columns are going?

The Douglas Fir Log shown below was beautifully turned by Dave @ the Lock Deck Plant and coordinated through Dan @ Disdero Lumber Company.
