Sunny 95 gets a new timber pavilion! New post and beam by Vermont Timber Works, hand crafted for the TF Guild :)

Post and Beam Park Pavilion

Post and beam pavilion for a park in Indiana. This design makes use of steel joinery a slightly raising bottom chord. The fireplace is not only a wonderful addition, it helps the strengthen the timber frame.

This particular design features traditional joinery with some steel (hidden) and a hip style roof system. Douglas fir timbers in a select structural and free of heart center grade.

What the heck is a porte cochere? That was a question I asked when first started working with Vermont Timber Works. Doug answered " it's a fancy carport"...SO there you go. Need a timber frame fancy car port? Vermont Timber can build one for you.
